I'm thrilled to share my latest aquatic escapade with you – the mesmerizing Oceanogràfic Valencia, the largest aquarium in Europe.   Located in the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, this colossal aquarium is a must-visit for any marine life aficionado.

Step into the Oceanogràfic, and you're instantly transported into a world of aquatic wonders. The longest underwater tunnel in Europe takes you on a captivating odyssey beneath the razor-sharp teeth of sharks. Beyond its entertainment value, Oceanogràfic is on a mission – to actively promote the conservation of our seas. Regular research and education projects are conducted to raise awareness of the marine environment. As you journey through different marine ecosystems, you'll not only be entertained but also enlightened about the importance of ocean preservation.

 

Before you dive in, take note of some specific rules. The use of camera flash, selfie sticks, and underwater cameras is a no-go. Remember to respect the habitats – no touching or throwing objects at the animals. It's all about creating a positive and safe environment for both visitors and residents.

SUBMARINO RESTAURANT

One of the most avant-garde restaurants in Valencia, located in the most important building of Oceanogràfic. Its cuisine is distinguished by its creativity and high quality. A unique atmosphere in which you can sample amazing dishes surrounded by over 10,000 fish.

 

 

OCEANOS RESTAURANT

Located at the centre of the aquarium. The Océanos restaurant is one of the ideal places for sampling a varied range of Mediterranean produce. Additionally, you can enjoy the cuisine either in the dining room or on the large outdoor terrace with views of all of Oceanogràfic.

LONJA

A perfect place to enjoy as a family. The Lonja self-service restaurant is located near the dolphinarium and has capacity for 750 people. Its varied menu makes Lonja one of the favorite places to eat.

MEDITERRANEO PIZZERIA

With spectacular views of the Oceanogràfic aviary, the Mediterráneo Pizzeria offers the best variety of pizzas, hot dogs and sandwiches to recharge during your visit. Additionally, it is a perfect place to cool down with a delicious ice cream or snow cone and sample the amazing handmade waffles.

 

DELFINARIO HAMBUGER RESTAURANT

Before the dolphinarium exhibition, you can visit the Delfinario hamburger restaurant, located under its grandstands, and sample one of Oceanogràfic’s star hamburgers.

4-D CINEMA (3 Euros)

Access to a movie in the 4D Cinema. Access to the 4D Cinema is not allowed to children under 4 years of age.  You must arrive 10 minutes before the movie starts at the door of the Auditorium of the Red Sea where the 4D Cinema is located

 

BACK STAGE TOUR (12 Euros)

Live an incredible experience visiting backstage with one of the guides and discover the best kept secrets of the largest marine park in Europe. Duration of the tour 1h15min. Activity is in English.  Available from 6 years old.
